this is often as straightforward as having a shower in the morning or brushing our teeth that has become an automatic programming in our brains this benefits us so we must do it. This transfers across to obsessions in the same way as the brain processes pleasure coming from a certain actions and in this fashion causes us to believe this action is good for us so we must repeat it. We get immediate gratification from them and find them awfully tough to give up, indeed. An example is Tamara, a 19-year old varsity student who was latterly diagnosed as having bipolar disorder. She was working and going to school and appeared to be handling well, aside from some of her friends seemed to believe she was under a large amount of stress. When she commenced having difficulty, her dad took her to the local physician, who made a referral to a local behavioral health treatment center.
